Kenyon Hall Farm - Year 2

Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Year 2 Year: 2015 - 2016

Everyone enjoyed a brilliant trip to Kenyon Hall Farm to help learn about Harvest Festival and how fruits and vegetables are grown as part of our technology and science work.

We smelt different herbs and watched the chickens being fed. We learnt about different berries and currants and learnt how fruits and vegetables are grown. Then we went into the fields and chose our own squash and sweetcorn to take home!

Finally we ended our day with a pumpkin story and watched a pumpkin being carved and learnt how to do it safely!

Look at our fabulous photos to see what a great day we had.
