Martin Luther King Jr - Historic Figure of the Month April 2020

Historic Figure of the Month for April 2020

Martin Luther King Jnr

I would like you to research this man and find out as much as you can about him, his legacy and the message he was striving to give.
Once you have found information create some way to display it, a poster, a video, a biography or something more creative.
When you are finished take a picture and email it to stjosephsworker.rcprimaryschool@salford.gov.uk with the header 'for Miss Finch'.

I will be looking to award prizes for the best submissions and also to put some good examples up on the website.

MISSION STATEMENT

“Together as God’s children we will, love, learn, grow, inspire, Let your light shine”.

OUR AIMS

  • To work together with families as the first educators of their children.
  • To create a happy Roman Catholic atmosphere in which everyone can develop spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, morally and physically.
  • To provide a safe, caring, stimulating environment in which everyone is encouraged to develop his or her full potential.
  • To promote self-discipline in an atmosphere which fosters respect, tolerance and acceptance of all people.
  • This school is committed to encouraging the children to develop into responsible members of the school community in preparation for their role as adult members of society. In helping us to achieve this goal we anticipate the co-operation of all our parents.
  • To support all members of the community in their faith journey.
