World Book Day 2020

Competitions will be sent home for children to complete. A book prize will be given to all the lucky winners.

We have Library Visits for Y1 - Y6 during book week.

World Book Day will be held on Thursday 5th March - please dress in a costume as your chosen book character or wear pyjamas and bring in your favourite bedtime story.

Reading books for each year group.

There are lists of reading books for each year group attached to this page.

We try to encourage children to read for pleasure whenever possible.

Take a look at the reading lists and help your child to choose a book that matches their interest. Take care to choose books that match your child's reading ability.

Reading questions to ask at home with your child.

Attached to this page are some reading questions that you can ask your child before they read a book, while they are reading and at the end of reading a book.
