Pentecost Party

Today all of the children came to school wearing red which is the colour for Pentecost.  The Chaplaincy/GIFT Team introduced the day with an assembly telling the story of Pentecost so everyone understood the reason for our celebration.

During the day, each class spent some time with their buddy class to show how we can come together in unity and be there for each other.  Each class pair spent time enjoying different activites including making prayer chains to decorate our prayer garden, blowing bubbles of prayer to the Holy Spirit and playing special games together in the sunshine.  A fun day was had by all!

“Together as God’s children we will, love, learn, grow, inspire, Let your light shine”.
