Our First Swimming Lesson!

Date: 11th Sep 2017 @ 2:49pm

Today we had our first swimming lesson! We were so excited and couldn't wait to get in the pool. When we arrived, we got changed into our swiming costumes and chose a locker with a friend. Before we were allowed to swim, we listened carefully to the rules to ensure that we stay safe. As it was our first week, it was really important that our swimming teacher watched how we swam so accestain which group to put us in. We tried swiming with armsbands and gradullay reduced the number of armbands as required. We had chance to swim on our fronts and our backs and some of us even started in the big pool! At the end of the session, we practised floating in our own space and blew bubbles in the water. We can't wait to go again next week!
