Mission Day

Class: Nursery Year: 2019 - 2020

Mission Day

We have been celebrating our school Mission Statement and thinking about our light shining.

Together as God’s children we will love, learn, grow, inspire

“Let your Light Shine”

We looked at the value of LOVE. We spoke about who loves us and who do we love.

We talked about how you can show love as a big question and the children had some great ideas.

WE decorated love hearts for our altar and we shown them in our special assembly.

We know that we are all special and have a light within us that shines bright making us the unique person that we are. We sang with Reception 'This little light of mine' to remind everyone about shining bright.

After the assembly Mr Glynn-Whitehead and the chaplains came to our classroom and sang some songs with us. We decorated a face to show how we can make people happy and encourage our lights to shine bright.

Later we decorated some candle pictures using collage materials.

We had a wonderful day celebrating

MISSION STATEMENT
