Mateusz wins maths award!

Thoroughout this year, a group of Year 6 children have been visiting Holy Cross Primary School and attending maths sessions with other schools, lead by Mr Dickinson.
Each time, they face a variety of challenges and then help to teach other children at our school - alongide Mr Dickinson - the following day. These provide all children within the classroom with a great challenge and each time Mr Dickinson visits the children feel great pride when they manage to solve the tricky problems he creates. This week, Myah-Willow was particularly proud of her achievements.

Mateusz was chosen for an award due to his incredible maths skills and his ability to answer a particular problem well. In fact, Mateusz answered the question so well that Mr Dickinson has now judged him to be within the top 5 fastest to solve this particular problem and brought along a certificate to award him.

Well done Mateusz!
