Maisie is nominated as a North West Tonight Everyday Hero

During this difficult time, incredible Maisie Appleton has been working hard to bring a little bit of joy to her local community and to raise money for a worthy charity.

Maisie has been using some of her spare time to make rainbow keyrings to leave in a tub on her fence so that when people are passing on their daily walk they can help themselves to one and if possible to make a small donation to Salford Royal Official Just Giving page. Maisie started with just 30 keyrings and as they have become more and more popular she has now made over 400 and raised hundreds for the NHS. The news of these keyrings has made it so far and even nurses from Blackburn Hospital have them on their lanyards and some have gone abroad!

A huge well done to Maisie for being an everyday hero and spreading so much joy during this time!
