School at Home
What Is Remote Learning?
Remote Learning is the continuation of children's learning outside of school. It provides an opportunity for teachers and pupils to remain connected and engage with learning whilst working from their homes.
The online platforms used at St. Joseph the Worker are Tapetsry ( for Early Years and Foundation Stage) and Seesaw ( Key Stage 1 and 2). Work will be uploaded on a daily basis for pupils and parents to access.
E-Safety
Children are spending more time online, whether that is in the classroom or at home. This will be the case more than ever during the national lockdown. It is important to have regular conversations about staying safe online and to encourage children to speak to you if they come across something worrying online.
Parents/guardians must make sure that children are supervised whilst using the internet to ensure that they are only accessing content that is appropriate to them. It is also advisable that parental controls are enabled on any devices and your internet provider.
