Literacy development

The children have been learning Set 1 sounds from RWI and can blend the sounds to read words. 

In reception there are opportunities for the children to write independently in the continuous areas.

We follow the school writing scheme, Jane Considine and focus on a specific text every half term to help develop our writing skills.
