Year 2 - St Joseph the Worker Feast Day

Date: 1st May 2018 @ 3:40pm

Tuesday 1st May is St Joseph the Worker feast day and to celebrate this occasion we had a special whole school assembly in the morning reminding us why Joseph was special.

Our school mission statement is "Together as God's children we will learn, love, grow, inspire. Let your light shine!" and that was something that we certainly did today!

In the afternoon, as a class Year 2 gathered as God's children outside and shared a "feast" of sweets and treats which everyone shared nicely. As we enjoyed the circle time, we all shared reasons why we love our school and what makes our school special and shine. There were some lovely answers which the childen thought long and hard about. Please check out the photos to see what a lovely time we had.

"I like that everyone is friendly and I have lots of friends to play with" Rayyan

"I like learning about lots of different things and always doing fun activities" Esther
